Constructed in 1911, Hotel Galvez is rich in history and rife with paranormal occurrences.  This hotel is no stranger to ghostly residents, with staffers and guests alike having experienced everything from unexplained gusts of cold air—in the heat of summer—to rattling bathroom doors.  The hotel offers weekly ghost tours and dinners—complete with electromagnetic field detectors and infared thermometers—throughout the entire month of October.

The Spaghetti Warehouse on Commerce Street in downtown Houston manages to churn out tasty Italian dishes despite its otherworldly incidents.  Although the haunted spirits seem to stick to the second floor, employees are used to table settings spontaneously rearranging themselves, and don’t be surprised if you feel a light shoulder tap mid-meal, either.

Built in 1867 on the former site of the 1842 Battle of Salado, Victoria’s Black Swan Inn is easily one of the most haunted destinations in North America.  The inn has played host to boot camps and training sessions for paranormal investigators-to-be and even offers haunted slumber parties for those too spooked to experience the inn’s odd occurrences solo.
